We currently have the following positions available:

 

1. Experienced Multi-Family Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Daily Operations – Completion of service requests assigned by supervisor which may include; Basic appliance troubleshooting/maintenance and installation; Lock replacements and maintenance; Repair, replace and install screens; assist in unit turn tasks; paint, patch, blind installation, light bulb changes, door adjustments and satisfactorily complete all turnover punch list items as provided by supervisor or office staff.

Industry Expertise – Basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry skills desired.

Required Qualifications, Skills, And Experience

  • High School education is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum of one-year experience and/or training in apartment maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Some mechanical aptitude, understanding of building materials and tools.
  • Must be able to function effectively in a customer service environment.
  • Must be available for on-call services and occasional weekends.
  • Other requirements:
  • Some work tasks are performed outdoors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Requires standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Communicating with residents, supervisors, vendors and subordinates.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; heights, precarious places and outside weather conditions.

2. Painter

This position should have prior painting knowledge and not only possesses integrity but has the experience demonstrating the following skills:

Job Requirements:

  • Be able to follow directions
  • Ability to work independently or with other team members
  • Able to work on all types of ladders
  • Must be able to perform all phases of painting such as: ceilings, drywall patching & painting and spraying
  • Prefer someone who is well versed in paint application. Quality Workmanship and an excellent work ethic required.

Job Qualifications:

Potential employees must have at least 3 years of painting experience. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

3. Carpenters and Lead Carpenter

Job Description:

The Carpenters and Lead Carpenters will have prior carpentry knowledge and not only possesses integrity but has the experience demonstrating the following skills:

  • Performs a wide variety of general and skilled carpentry.
  • Frame to finish, kitchen & bathrooms, etc.
  • Ensures all services are completed correctly and on schedule.
  • Demonstrates superior customer service in order to help set our company apart from our competition.
  • Collaborates with supervisor to ensure the best decisions are made for remodel.

The qualified candidate possesses:

  • Minimum of 5 year experience in carpentry
  • Ability to work independently or with other team members or licensed master technicians
  • Ability to diagnose, resolve or fix issues
  • Desire to provide excellent customer service and a sense of pride in your work
  • Ability to communicate well with people
  • Able to schedule and follow scheduled dead lines
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Must be energetic, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Physical requirements include frequent need to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Objects over 50 lbs. must be accomplished with assistance from one or more person
